Nestadio Capital SAS, formerly known as Fonds d’Investissement de Bretagne, S.A.S., is a venture capital and private equity firm specializing in direct and fund of funds investments. Within the fund of funds investments, the firm seeks to invest in private equity funds. Within the direct investments, the firm specializes in startup, leveraged buy-out and growth capital investments in expansion and mature stages. It invests through common shares, preference shares, convertible bonds and participative loans. The firm invests in unlisted small and medium-sized companies from all sectors focusing on the following sectors: information technology and communication, mainly in internet and mobile internet, high technology industry, software, social networking, interactive contents, electronics, cloud computing, e-services, energy transition and in industrial technologies. It also invests in logistics, food processing and agri-food industry, cosmetics, products, services and distribution, health and wellness, remote support, multimedia and fiber optics, clean tech, sustainable development, medical waste treatment, natural phytosanitary products, car sharing and electric cars. It does not invest in real estate, steel industry, coal mines and shipbuilding. It typically invests in companies based in the United States and Europe mainly in the French Northwest and West regions, with a particular focus in the following former French regions: Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Basse-Normandie, Haute-Normandie, Aquitaine, Poitou-Charentes, Centre and Ile-de-France. The firm takes minority and majority stake up to 50% and makes investments between €0.05 million ($0.065 million) and €2 million ($2.86 million), in companies with revenues up to €50 million ($69.01 million) and annual balance sheet up to €43 million ($49.41 million). The firm also seeks to co-invest and to take a seat in the Board of Directors or in the Executive Committee or in the Strategic Committee of its portfolio companies. It seeks to exit its investments after four to eight years. Nestadio Capital SAS was founded in 2005 and is based in Plouhinec, France with an additional office in Versailles, France.
