Truliant Federal Credit Union
Truliant Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, established in 1952. It serves over 200,000 members through 31 Member Financial Centers located in the Carolinas and Virginia. Truliant offers a range of financial services, including personal and corporate banking tailored to small and middle-market companies. The credit union caters to various industries, such as leisure facilities, real estate, and media services, emphasizing its commitment to supporting the financial needs of its member-owners.
Harris Road opened its doors on August 4, 2002, with 780 students, 56 certified staff members, and 35 support staff. The Patriot was chosen as the mascot, and teams, hallways, and colors were all given a patriot theme.
The school hopes to start a Personal Finance Literacy Library consisting of mini-library of books that teens can relate to that deal with personal finance. The set of books would be required reading at least one day a week in personal finance classrooms.
Coach Kuralt received the $2,500 Truliant Grant which will be used to purchase sales and marketing materials for his Marketing Class
