RippleWorks Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Redwood City, California, established in 2015 to support social ventures and entrepreneurs. The foundation connects these ventures with experts from Silicon Valley to address critical scaling challenges through short-term, fully managed projects lasting four months. These projects are designed to facilitate knowledge transfer and skill development within the teams. Additionally, RippleWorks offers various forms of debt investments and grants, ensuring that ventures have the necessary capital for growth. With a focus on driving business results quickly, RippleWorks aims to enhance social and economic impact globally by leveraging the expertise of successful entrepreneurs and tech executives.
The Farmerline vision is to see an Africa where Agriculture NGO’s are not a functioning force in the market. Farmerline provides paid services that allow farmers to have the information and access they need to employ an entrepreneurial method of farming. Input dealers and traders pay for more efficient communication channels to farmers and farmers pay for information packages and services. In this vision, more food is produce, more food gets to market, and GDP from cash crop export soars.
Zoona is a mobile technology company focused on delivering financial services to underserved communities across Africa. It operates an interoperable distribution network that facilitates money transfers, electronic voucher payments, agent payments, savings, credit, and bill payments. By leveraging a network of widespread agents, Zoona aims to provide safe and reliable access to financial services for predominantly unbanked customers, enabling them to participate in the financial system and improve their economic well-being.
