West Yorkshire Pension Fund (WYPF), established in 1974, is a public pension fund based in Bradford, United Kingdom. It provides retirement, death, and other benefits to its members, which include employees from the five district councils of West Yorkshire—Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds, and Wakefield—as well as over 120 other employers. The fund is administered by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council and allocates its assets across various investment categories, including equities, bonds, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, and cash. Currently, the fund invests approximately 66.1% in equities, 15.3% in bonds, and smaller portions in other assets. WYPF also engages in alternative investments, reflecting its commitment to a diversified portfolio aimed at securing the financial futures of its members.
