Startup Reykjavik is a mentorship-driven seed stage investment program based in Reykjavik, Iceland, founded in 2012 by Arion Bank, Innovit Entrepreneurship Center, and Klak. The program runs annually for ten weeks and is highly selective about the ideas it accepts. Selected startups receive $16,000 in seed funding and benefit from perks such as free hosting services and a collaborative workspace. Participants engage in intensive mentorship, gaining valuable insights and connections essential for launching their businesses. The program culminates in an Investor and Demo Day, where founders have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to angel investors and venture capitalists.
