Jointly created by the Australian Hotels Association and United Voice, it has grown to become one of the largest superannuation funds in the country, serving nearly one million members and over 155,000 employers, with approximately A$33 billion in funds under management. The fund's investment portfolio is diversified across various asset classes, including Australian and international shares, private equity, infrastructure, property, fixed income, cash, alternatives, and credit. In November 2019, Hostplus expanded its reach through a merger with Club Super, enhancing its capacity to serve its members and stakeholders.
