Government Institutions Pension Fund

The Government Institutions Pension Fund, established in 1989, serves as the managed pension fund for the Republic of Namibia. As a non-profit organization, it administers a range of employee benefits, including pension plans, long-term disability plans, and retiree health insurance. The fund's investment portfolio is diversified, comprising 52% in equities, 23% in fixed income, 9% in property, 7% in cash, 6% in private equity, and 3% in other assets. Through its financial services, the fund aims to ensure the financial security and well-being of its members.
