Maddie's Fund

Maddie's Fund is a non-profit organization established in 1994 by Dave Duffield and Cheryl Duffield. The foundation, named after their beloved Miniature Schnauzer, Maddie, has been endowed with over $300 million and has awarded more than $247.3 million in grants aimed at enhancing community lifesaving efforts, shelter management, shelter medicine education, and foster care across the United States. Maddie's Fund is dedicated to the mission of creating a no-kill nation, ensuring that every dog and cat has the opportunity for a healthy home or habitat. Through its initiatives, the foundation seeks to improve the welfare of domestic animals, particularly dogs, and to promote effective strategies for animal sheltering and care.
