JA Saúde Animal is a veterinary pharmaceutical industry 100% Brazilian, specialized in the research, development, manufacture and commercialization of products for animal health. With a mission to offer the market safe and innovative medicines, the company has more than 160 internal employees, in addition to sales staff with more than 80 people, able to support customers and present to the livestock company solutions based on concepts of easy execution and high efficacy. JA Saúde Animal was founded in 2002 by the Veterinarian Dr. José Abdo Andrade Hellu, who dedicated his life to clinical, surgery, animal reproduction and, since the 90's, tests and researches innovative and effective animal health formulas . The intention of JA's founder to develop differentiated veterinary drugs arose from the perception, after many years of field work, that various drugs offered to the market could be improved in terms of therapeutic efficacy, practicality and cost-effectiveness. The research and testing of the innovative formulations were based on associations of active principles already existent, but never associated and with adjusted dosages, according to the real need of each animal category. After proving the efficacy of the new formulations, a new phase began, the construction of the production plant and the registration of the products with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA). Since then, JA SAÚDE ANIMAL remains focused on the development of innovative medicines, Dr. José Abdo de Andrade Hellú holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP - Jaboticabal (1976), specialist in Animal Reproduction at the University of Franca (2003), Master in Veterinary Surgery and Anesthesiology at the University of Franca (2009) and PhD in Animal Reproduction from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho - UNESP-Jaboticabal (2012);
