Speed@BDD SAL is an accelerator and venture capital firm based in Beirut, Lebanon, established in 2015. The firm focuses on seed and early-stage investments in the MENA region, specifically targeting innovative startups within the software, digital, web, hardware, and mobile industries. Speed@BDD primarily invests in companies with an enterprise value of up to $0.6 million, typically committing around $30,000 per investment. The firm selects approximately 20 startups annually, with two cycles of ten startups each lasting three months. In addition to its initial investments, Speed@BDD may provide follow-on funding of up to $20,000 for the top two companies in each cycle, while maintaining a 10% equity stake in its portfolio.
