Philips Pensioenfonds

Philips Pensioenfonds is a prominent corporate pension fund established in 1913 and based in Amstelveen, Netherlands. It serves the pension plans for current and former employees of Koninklijke Philips and Signify. With approximately $13.5 billion in assets under management, it is the largest corporate pension fund in the Netherlands and ranks as the sixth largest overall. The fund's investment strategy includes a diversified portfolio comprising international government bonds (30%), equities (30%), real estate (12.5%), and various fixed-income securities such as corporate bonds and mortgages. Additionally, it allocates a minimum of 1.5% of its assets to alternative investments, including buyouts, international private equity, mezzanine financing, and venture capital. The management of the fund's assets is overseen by a board of trustees.
