South Central Ventures

South Central Ventures focuses on early stage high-growth companies with excellent management teams. With offices in Belgrade, Zagreb and Skopje, South Central Ventures (SCV), through Enterprise Innovation Fund (ENIF), is focused on tech companies in the Balkans. The € 40 million fund is dedicated primarily to early stage and growth investments. Within the fund’s ‘seed pocket’, € 1.5 million is allocated for investments of up to € 100 000 per company. The majority of the fund is allocated for early stage and growth investments of up to € 3 million per company. These investments are intended to fuel the international business expansion and growth of the most promising tech startups that can show traction and prove their potential to “make it big”.

Eleven

Eleven is a EUR 12 million acceleration and seed fund, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Eleven launched in 2012 as a winner of the EIF Jeremie seed finance instrument for Bulgaria. Eleven’s aim is to give early stage teams the opportunity to pass from the discovery stage to validation and beyond, and to accelerate past initial MVP to Seed and Series A investment readiness. They are primarily focused on giving opportunities to teams in the region of Central and Eastern Europe, but they encourage teams from everywhere to apply. Eleven invests in 10-15 startups every three months, and offers an extensive mentorship program, an acceleration space, and a EUR 25,000 initial investment against 8% of equity to teams selected to participate. Based on each team's progress and needs, Eleven provides a follow-on investment of up to EUR 200,000 in aggregate. Eleven is a member of the Global Accelerator Network (GAN) and it is forging relationships with other startup hubs and investor communities across Europe and North America. Currently, the fund has invested more than EUR 7 million in 93 startups from South Eastern Europe and beyond.
