Tarjimly

Tarjimly is a technology nonprofit that addresses the language barriers faced by refugees by connecting them with on-demand translators through its mobile application. Founded by two immigrant MIT graduates, the organization enables refugees to communicate effectively with medical professionals, legal advisors, and aid workers by connecting them to volunteer translators within 60 seconds. Users can engage in text, phone, or video communications, facilitating better integration and support. The platform has mobilized over 6,000 trained translators, assisting more than 15,000 refugees and NGOs worldwide. Tarjimly’s mission is to eliminate humanitarian language barriers and leverage technology to engage millions of bilingual volunteers, ultimately improving the lives of displaced individuals.
