Northwest Medical Isotopes (NWMI) is a United States-based organization that offers a domestic manufacturing solution to the current molybdenum-99 (mo-99) crisis through low-energy, cost-effective, and sustainable processes. It designs, licenses, constructs, and operates a radioisotope production capability that will support target fabrication, recovery, and purification of the Mo-99 product from irradiated low-enriched uranium (LEU) targets, and uranium recovery and recycle to produce Mo-99.
