Alacer Gold
Alacer Gold Corp. is a gold mining company engaged in the exploration, development, and production of mineral deposits, primarily in Turkey and Australia. The company holds an 80% interest in the Çöpler gold mine, situated in the Erzincan Province of eastern Turkey, as well as complete ownership of the Higginsville and South Kalgoorlie gold operations located in Australia. Alacer Gold is involved in various exploration projects, including Cevizlidere, Çöpler Sulfides, and Karakartal, all situated in Turkey. The company's operations are predominantly focused on the Çöpler District and regional exploration efforts within Turkey, which is its primary source of revenue. Alacer Gold, originally known as Anatolia Minerals Development Limited, changed its name in 2011 and is based in Englewood, Colorado. As of September 2020, Alacer Gold operates as a subsidiary of SSR Mining Inc.
