Checktobuild is a construction technology startup addressing critical challenges in the construction sector, which generates approximately $7 trillion annually, particularly focusing on megaprojects expected to grow significantly in the next decade. Despite the sector's size, it faces alarming issues, such as high rates of accidents and frequent cost overruns, with 98% of megaprojects exceeding budgets and timelines. To tackle these problems, Checktobuild offers an autonomous inspection service that integrates Building Information Modeling (BIM) with IoT and drone technology. The platform streamlines the inspection process in four steps: uploading the BIM model, capturing construction progress via drones, generating a real-time equivalent model for comparison, and providing comprehensive documentation and insights. This approach aims to reduce material waste, enhance inspection efficiency, minimize accidents, and facilitate early error detection, ultimately contributing to the sustainable advancement of the construction industry.
