DBJ Capital is the corporate venture capital arm of the Development Bank of Japan, founded in 2010 through the merger of two DBJ Group venture firms. As a subsidiary of the Development Bank of Japan, DBJ Capital mobilizes the bank's full network to support investments in frontier technologies and new business models aimed at global growth, spanning industries and scales. It provides investment solutions ranging from growth-focused equity to financing schemes and assists venture startups through a value enhancement team that helps commercialize intellectual property and university- or research-developed technologies.
