Grommet

The Grommet is an online platform dedicated to discovering and promoting innovative products from independent makers, inventors, and entrepreneurs. Founded in 2008 and led by Co-founder & CEO Jules Pieri, The Grommet focuses on "Citizen Commerce," encouraging consumers to support businesses aligned with their values, such as sustainability and inclusivity. The platform has launched over 2,000 products across 16 categories, with only a small percentage selected for distribution. By sharing the stories behind each product, The Grommet connects its community of more than 2.7 million supporters to unique offerings, many of which have achieved significant market success. In addition to its retail platform, The Grommet Wholesale was introduced in 2014 to assist makers in distributing their products to retailers. As of 2016, The Grommet has facilitated the sale of over $40 million in inventory from its makers and offers more than 1,000 products to approximately 6,500 retail partners.
