The Harvard Business School Alumni Angels Association (HBSAA) is a prominent global network for Harvard alumni and affiliates focused on investing in early-stage companies. Established in 2007 and formalized as a global organization in 2010, HBSAA has grown to include over 1,000 members and 12 chapters across four continents. Members participate in the investment process at the local chapter level, where they screen numerous companies and select candidates for pitch events. To date, the association has funded over 250 companies, collectively investing approximately $50 million. This initiative not only facilitates financial backing but also connects funded companies with a vast network of HBS alumni and mentors, enhancing their growth potential.
