Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation

The Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation is a philanthropic organization founded by William H. Draper, III, Robin Richards Donohoe, and Robert S. Kaplan. Established to support innovative and impactful social ventures, the Foundation focuses on early-stage investments, primarily in the information technology sector. Since its inception in 1994, the organization has facilitated over one hundred investments in both India and the United States. In 2010, the Foundation expanded its efforts by collaborating with Kaplan, a former vice-chairman of Goldman Sachs and a Harvard Business School professor, to raise a second fund. This initiative brought together fourteen innovative philanthropists to support the Foundation's mission of fostering social entrepreneurship and creating positive social change through strategic investments.
