In addition to its core sugar business, Mitr Phol is involved in the production of wood substitute materials and renewable energy, primarily through biomass fuel. Its operations extend beyond Thailand to countries such as China, Lao PDR, Cambodia, and Australia. The company is privately owned, with the Vongkusolkit family being the major stakeholders.
