Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. is an international airline headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, that provides both scheduled and non-scheduled air transport services domestically and internationally. The company operates a diverse fleet of 241 aircraft, including large, medium, small, and regional jets. Its extensive route network encompasses over 100 domestic routes and more than 50 international routes, connecting to over 300 airports across more than 50 countries and regions. In addition to passenger and cargo transport, Japan Airlines is involved in aerial work, credit card services, and the sale of package tours. Founded in 1951, the airline has evolved significantly over the decades, changing its name from Japan Airlines International Co., Ltd. in April 2011.
