Cowboy Technology Angels

Cowboy Technology Angels, LLC, based in Oklahoma City, is an angel investment network focused on supporting technology-based companies. Comprised of alumni and associates of Oklahoma State University, the organization aims to leverage the university's research and innovation to foster investor-ready entrepreneurs and their startups. As an independent investment fund, Cowboy Technology Angels operates separately from the university and its affiliated entities. Each member is an accredited investor and has the autonomy to choose their investments. Members contribute an initial amount upon joining and subsequently invest as opportunities arise. The pooled capital is utilized to invest in selected portfolio companies, with members collaboratively managing these investments. Jim Troxel, a graduate of Oklahoma State University, oversees the fund and its operations, partnering with WBTangels to streamline investment processes and enhance access to technology and capital.
