Ares SSG

Ares SSG is a private equity firm based in Hong Kong, specializing in middle market, credit, and special situations investments across the Asia Pacific region, with particular emphasis on Greater China, India, Indonesia, and Southeast Asia. Founded in February 2009, the firm was previously known as SSG Capital Management Limited and operates additional offices in the Cayman Islands, Singapore, China, Mauritius, and India. Ares SSG is currently managing its third flagship fund, which focuses on credit and special situations opportunities in the Asia-Pacific market. The firm became a subsidiary of Ares Management Corporation following its acquisition of a controlling interest in SSG Capital Holdings Limited in July 2020.
