Engender Technologies

Series A in 2016
Engender Technologies specializes in advanced reproductive technology for the dairy industry by offering a proprietary method for separating X (female) and Y (male) bearing bull sperm cells. This innovative process utilizes microfluidic chip technology and laser applications designed for artificial insemination, which minimizes damage to the sperm cells while enhancing sorting efficiency. By enabling dairy farmers to selectively breed for desired traits, Engender's technology aims to accelerate genetic gain and improve overall productivity in livestock operations. The company has also established partnerships, securing scientific and laboratory facilities from a major AI firm in exchange for a non-exclusive licensing option for its technology.
