Northern Sun Mining

Northern Sun Mining Corp. is a mining company based in Toronto, Canada, specializing in the exploration, development, and production of nickel, copper, cobalt, and platinum group metals. The company holds a 100% interest in several key projects within Ontario, including the Shaw Dome Nickel Belt, which encompasses the Redstone mine, the McWatters mine, and the Hart nickel project, covering approximately 12,000 hectares southeast of Timmins. Additionally, Northern Sun Mining owns the Groves nickel-copper-platinum group metals project, spanning around 6,400 hectares southeast of Gogama, as well as the McAra Lake-Ray cobalt-nickel-copper project, which covers approximately 6,200 hectares to the south of Timmins. Formerly known as Liberty Mines Inc., the company rebranded to Northern Sun Mining Corp. in October 2013 and operates as a subsidiary of Jien International Investments Limited.
