A rainbow is caused by the refraction and reflection of rays from the sun on water droplets. Although a natural phenomenon, the rainbow is often correlated with the human spiritual aspirations of enlightenment and rejuvenation. Each of the colors visible in the spectrum is attributed core spiritual ambitions and as a group they symbolize a celebration of diversity itself. Kinrot Ventures was founded in 1993 as part of the Israeli Incubator Program and in 2006 was privatized by the Canadian Stern Group in cooperation with the Israeli Chief Scientist. In the beginning of 2010, AquAgro Fund LP has acquired Kinrot Ventures from Canada's Stern Partners Inc. After almost three years under the management of AquAgro Fund, in the end of 2012 Kinrot Venture was acquired by Hutchison Water, a unit of Hutchison Whampoa Ltd. Today, Kinrot is the leading seed investor in water and clean-tech related technologies worldwide.
