QueBuster is a hybrid event registration platform designed to streamline on-site check-ins at business events in Uganda. It targets the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) market by offering virtual queuing, QR code check-ins, mobile money integration, and offline support. Unlike general online ticketing platforms, QueBuster focuses on eliminating physical queues and speeding up validation during event entry. The platform is currently developing its MVP and preparing for a beta test across 20 events. Its approach addresses operational inefficiencies in event registration and aims to expand within Africa’s broader MICE industry.

Africa Foundation for Community Development (AFCOD-Uganda) is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organization operating in Uganda. The organization engages in advocacy and program implementation in areas such as human rights, democratic governance, prevention of gender-based violence, and promotion of sexual and reproductive health rights. AFCOD-Uganda also provides services including legal aid, psychosocial support, and capacity-building training for human rights defenders. The organization collaborates with partners like Girls Not Brides, MenEngage Alliance, and Vital Voices Global Partnership to support its initiatives. Its activities are carried out across various communities in Uganda.
