Granite Ventures, LLC, established in 1992 and based in San Francisco, California, is a venture capital firm specializing in early-stage technology investments. It focuses on pre-revenue and early-stage companies, typically investing in seed, Series A, or Series B rounds, with initial investments ranging from $0.5 million to $4 million, and up to $10 million over the life of the company. The firm leads most of its investments and prefers to take a board seat in its portfolio companies.
