Verv specialises in high-speed data acquisition and AI in the electrical domain. The team has developed cutting-edge predictive maintenance technology for white goods manufacturers to make their appliances smarter and more sustainable. Using its patented technology, Verv captures the appliance’s energy signature in high resolution. This magnified view, teamed with specialised algorithms, enables the company to detect anomalies in how it’s performing and thus identify signs of component fatigue and locate faults that are occurring or are about to occur. The manufacturer can then be alerted to recommended action. This real-time performance monitoring solution, enhanced by AI, offers detailed fault diagnostics right down to component level. The issues it can find often cannot cost-effectively be detected with the traditional use of sensors or lower resolution monitoring. By detecting issues in white goods early, Verv can make white goods more energy efficient, longer lasting and more sustainable, whilst reducing the significant costs associated with repairs in warranty for appliance manufacturers. Smart, remote diagnostics also improve customer experience by reducing the downtime of appliances and optimising service.
