Life Sciences Angel Network

LSAN was founded in 2010 when Dr. Milena Adamian returned to New York after working in San Francisco with prominent life science angel groups. Upon discovering that New York was missing an organization focused on identifying and helping early stage life sciences companies grow, Milena founded LSAN. In 2010 LSAN began its operations under the New York Academy of Sciences and became an independent entity in early 2012. LSAN was founded with the understanding that to help our portfolio companies succeed we need to provide them with funding but also with operational support and an access to a broad network of healthcare investors, key opinion leaders, corporate players and other entrepreneurs.
