Under the supervision of its founding partner Carole Hani Makhoul (US Registered Dietitian), it provides the nutritional facts of each recipe published on the site - a service only shahiya offers in Arabic. Since going online in 2010, it has grown to become the biggest Arabic cooking website, organically attracting > 1,000,000 unique visitors/month.
