METR builds a universal IoT infrastructure for buildings which enables connected use cases for the housing industry. From energy efficiency, to predictive maintenance, building control to submetering: their hardware platform offers multi-utility applications and integrates third-party services into one platform for the tenement building of the future.
Enclave is a modern Zero Trust Network Access replacement for corporate VPNs that makes it simple to access private resources; connecting staff, developers, privileged users, applications, cloud workloads, containers and IoT devices without VPN servers, opening firewalls, adding edge devices, or changing infrastructure. Enclave creates private mesh overlay networks between participating systems subject to strict policy controls, where knowledge of participating systems is provided on a need-to-know basis. By default everything in the mesh is dark to the public Internet, hidden behind closed firewalls with no knowledge of other systems and no ability to communicate with other members. Once policy is applied, members of the mesh connect directly to one using automatic mutual authentication and NAT traversal, allowing firewalls to remain closed to reduce the surface area available for attack and make infrastructure harder to discover, target and attack.
