Orca Energy Group Inc. operates the Songo Songo natural gas field in Tanzania, managing a significant portion of its production under a Production Sharing Agreement with the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation. The company oversees the production, marketing, and sale of 684 billion cubic feet of natural gas, while 195 billion cubic feet is allocated for use by Songas Limited. Orca operates a gas processing facility on Songo Songo Island, supplying natural gas through pipelines to the Dar es Salaam area for power generation and industrial use. The facility supports a long-term gas sales agreement with TPDC, contributing to the National Natural Gas Infrastructure. As Tanzania's first natural gas development, Orca is pivotal in supplying gas to the power and industrial sectors, further establishing a market for industrial gas in the region.
