The Qatar SportsTech program powered by Startupbootcamp is the newly launched accelerator supporting innovative early stage and seed startups working in Sports technology. The topics of the SportsTech accelerator vary from performance analytics to and usage of big data. Events management and yield management for stadiums, Sports tourism, Fan experience and engagement, Sensors IoT and wearables, AI and machine learning, Sports equipment and performance enhancing clothing, Sports Medicine & Rehab, VR AR, and e-sports. Their intensive program provides 10 selected Sports Tech companies with hands-on mentorship from over 100 industry experts, office space in Doha, seed funding, and access to a global network of Sports entities, University Research labs, investors, and corporate partners from across the Sports Technology industry. Qatar Development Bank has joined forces with the Aspire Zone Foundation, Ministry of Economy and Commerce, Qatar Financial Centre, and Startupbootcamp to fund the Qatar Sportstech Accelerator. These key partners provide expertise, exposure, APIs, and unprecedented access to their network of industry professionals from around the world.
