San Francisco Foundation

San Francisco SPCA is a community-supported, non-profit animal welfare organization dedicated to saving and protecting animals, providing care and treatment, advocating for their rights, and enhancing the human-animal bond. Founded in 1868 and based in San Francisco, California, the organization focuses on three primary areas: prevention, rescue, and education. It offers a variety of services, including free and low-cost spay-neuter programs, behavior resources, veterinary care, expanded trap-neuter-return initiatives, and adoption services. Hack the Hood is a nonprofit organization that introduces low-income youth to careers in technology by hiring and training them to build websites for small businesses in their own communities.
