Communities Foundation of Texas is an independent non-profit private foundation based in Dallas, established in 1953. It serves the charitable needs of individuals and organizations both locally and internationally through a variety of charitable grants and services. The foundation administers over 900 funds, including donor-advised and non-donor-advised trusts, as well as endowment funds. It maintains strong relationships with more than 30 community foundations across Texas, which enables it to effectively identify and address the needs of nonprofits in their respective communities. The foundation's assets are managed by its executive management team, guided by the discretion of the board of trustees.

The Houston Area Urban League (HAUL) is a charitable organization affiliated with the United Way and National Urban League. , HAUL advocates for and provides social services to disadvantaged individuals of all races, genders, and ages.
