The Recycling Partnership
The Recycling Partnership is a national nonprofit organization established in 2003, dedicated to enhancing recycling efforts throughout the United States. Focused primarily on residential recycling, the organization aims to improve participation rates, which currently average less than 50 percent despite over half of U.S. communities having access to recycling programs. The Recycling Partnership utilizes leveraged seed grants and forms partnerships to stimulate commitments and investments in recycling initiatives. By investing in community programs and system solutions, it seeks to create a more effective and efficient recycling system across the country. As a 501(c)(3) organization, it operates with the goal of fostering sustainable practices and increasing the overall effectiveness of recycling in American communities.
