Automotive Training Center

A family-owned, private two-year technical training school, Automotive Training Center (ATC) confers certificates in automotive and marine services. Founded in 1917, the school remains committed to providing relevant career training and is recognized as one of the most respected technical schools in Pennsylvania. The Warminster campus of ATC is located in Bucks County and is convenient to students from southeast Pennsylvania and central and southern New Jersey. Prospective students must contact the school in order to be matched with an Admissions Representative. The Admissions Representative is the student’s contact person throughout the application process. The Admissions Representatives is responsible for making sure the candidate has all of the information he needs to complete an application. For more information on the admissions process, contact the Automotive Training Center in Warminster. ATC takes pride in its up-to-date shop and lab facilities equipped with professional tools and machinery. Students also benefit from the school’s amenities such as the library and student break room. There is no on-campus housing. However there are plenty of safe and affordable apartments and housing opportunities close to the campus. Those interested in cutting down living expenses can request to be matched with a student roommate. The instructors at ATC are top-of-the-line. The majority of teachers has over 20 years of professional experience and is certified by the manufacturers with whom they were previously employed. They are required to keep their skills up-to-date by attending seminars, workshops and Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings run by ATC. The cost of tuition at the Automotive Training Center in Warminster varies by program. Textbooks are included in the total price, but students must provide funding for additional fees such as uniforms and tools. Federal and state financial aid is available to students who meet the eligibility requirements. The school also offers scholarships to Pennsylvania high school seniors and makes available a list of applicable private scholarships for all other applicants. ATC's Career Services Department has a team dedicated to helping students find a job after earning their certificates. Though the department can never guarantee employment, the Careers Services team works diligently for each student through partnering with privately owned and independent auto repair shops and the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia (ADAGP). Successful alumni have gone on to work for some of the most well-known brands in automobiles. Other useful services include helping students get letters of recommendation, revising their resumes and finding part-time employment while enrolled in school.
