GSMA
The GSMA is a global trade body representing nearly 800 mobile network operators and 200 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem. Established in 1982, it promotes the development of mobile technology, with a focus on GSM, a standard used by the majority of the world's mobile networks. The GSMA's work includes organizing industry-leading events like the Mobile World Congress, and driving innovation through initiatives such as the GSMA Innovation Fund, which supports digital solutions in emerging markets. It also facilitates collaboration between mobile operators and startups through programs like the GSMA Ecosystem Accelerator, and promotes the use of mobile technology in specific sectors, such as agriculture, through the GSMA AgriTech Programme.
