Arctic Heat Technologies (AHT) is a company founded in 2017 through the collaboration of local Alaskan investors and the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). It specializes in heating technologies that utilize carbon fiber tapes, branded as "Tundra Tape," to prevent snow and ice accumulation on outdoor surfaces such as walkways, driveways, parking lots, and roadways. This innovative approach offers a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for snow removal, allowing for low-maintenance de-icing that can be self-monitored and remotely managed. AHT's technology was successfully tested during the record snowfall of the winter of 2011/12 and is currently implemented at two locations on the UAA campus. The company, which began as CFT Solutions, LLC based on a patent by Dr. Joey Yang, aims to generate local employment opportunities and contribute to the economic growth and diversification of Alaska.

The company also provides installation and consulting services. IA3 was founded by Mark Bolzern and Hezekiah Ky Holland in June 2016. It is based in Anchorage, Alaska.
