Avangrid, Inc. is an energy services holding company based in Orange, Connecticut, with operations across 27 states. It operates through two main segments: Networks and Renewables. The Networks segment encompasses eight regulated electric and natural gas utilities that serve approximately 3.2 million customers in New York and New England. The Renewables segment focuses on the development and operation of renewable energy generation facilities, primarily utilizing wind and solar power, with over 6 gigawatts of capacity across 22 states. Avangrid is also involved in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity, as well as the sale of natural gas to residential, commercial, and institutional customers.
