Wearable Technologies Limited designs, manufactures, and distributes intelligent clothing that are embedded with washable electronics. With over 50 granted patents in the field of fabric sensor controls, WTL are an early leader in embedding washable electronics into a varied range of intelligent clothing for consumer, industrial safety and emergency services. WTL products are sold around the world in retailers such as Halfords, Cycle Republic and Evans Cycles in the UK, and MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) and Dicks Sporting Goods in the USA, used by workers in industry, local government, the military and the police. WTL model is to BUILD their patented technologies within Wearable Technologies Limited, PROVE them in their own Visijax-branded products (www.visijax.com) to end customers, and then gain SCALE through LICENSING them to other garment manufacturers wishing to enter this exploding market to sell into their own verticals eg. consumer, oil & gas, transport, construction. WTL developing an embedded smart garment plug and play IoT platform to make the “connected worker” a reality, assisted by Mediatek (processors), Orange (data and connectivity in 200 countries), Accenture (systems integration into large enterprise control rooms). Within the company they have a blend of mass market garment manufacture, hardware, software, data and IP competencies.
