The PeaceTech Accelerator, based at the United States Institute of Peace, is the inaugural international program focused on peacetech, utilizing cloud innovation to enhance the scalability of startups addressing conflict and crisis zones. This initiative, a collaboration between C5, PeaceTech Lab, SAP NS2, and Amazon Web Services, selects startups that develop technologies aimed at managing, mitigating, predicting, or preventing conflict while promoting sustainable peace. The eight-week program offers intensive mentorship and training, particularly in cloud technology. It seeks both for-profit and nonprofit applicants, emphasizing areas such as integrity and governance, countering violent extremism, and refugee care. Selected participants receive various benefits, including cloud credits, funding, opportunities to pitch to investors, and access to a global network of mentors. The program aims to support the rapid and sustainable growth of innovative solutions for peace.
