CSI Compressco LP is a provider of compression services and equipment tailored for the natural gas and oil industries, operating primarily in the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Argentina. The company designs and manufactures both standard and custom-engineered compressor packages, as well as oil field fluid pump systems. In addition to equipment sales, CSI Compressco offers aftermarket services, including maintenance, overhaul, and reconfiguration, along with parts and components from third-party suppliers. Its product offerings include low, medium, and high-horsepower compressor packages designed for various applications, such as production enhancement, gas transportation, and midstream operations. The company also provides complementary services like well monitoring and sand separation, enhancing its comprehensive support for oil and gas production and processing. Founded in 2008 and headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, CSI Compressco was previously known as Compressco Partners, L.P. before rebranding in 2014.
In 1971 the owners of Treanor Equipment Company, a Caterpillar dealership headquartered in Odessa, Texas, founded Compressor Systems, Inc. to enhance the sales of gas engines to the compression industry. The original owners included two members of the Treanor family and Johnny Warren, then CSI’s General Manager and a minority shareholder. Mr. Warren bought out the stockholders in 1975. Today, Compressor Systems, Inc. also operates Rotary Compressor Systems, Inc. and Pump Systems International. These companies operate throughout the major gas producing regions of the United States, Australia, and Mexico.
