DCP Midstream, LP, established in 2005 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, is a leading midstream energy company in the United States. It owns, operates, and develops a diverse portfolio of midstream assets, including approximately 44 natural gas processing plants and 51,000 miles of natural gas gathering and transmission systems. DCP Midstream's business is segmented into Logistics and Marketing, and Gathering and Processing. The Logistics and Marketing segment is involved in transporting, trading, marketing, and storing natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs), as well as fractionating NGLs. The Gathering and Processing segment focuses on gathering, compressing, treating, and processing natural gas, producing and fractionating NGLs, and recovering condensate. DCP Midstream serves a wide range of clients, including petrochemical and refining companies, and retail propane distributors. Notably, it processes around 12% of the nation's natural gas supply, making it one of the largest producers of NGLs and natural gas processing companies in the U.S.
