Past deals in Sustainability

Johannas Stadsodlingar is a Stockholm-based company that specializes in producing fish, vegetables, and herbs through sustainable aquaponics systems. These systems create a mini-ecosystem where fish and plants coexist, allowing for a circular food production process that minimizes environmental impact and reduces water consumption. The company focuses on locally grown products, including salads and spices, which are cultivated without the use of toxins. By integrating natural processes with their agricultural practices, Johannas Stadsodlingar aims to provide customers with fresh, sustainable food options while promoting environmentally responsible farming methods.

POMMINE

Grant in 2020
POMMINE is a Swedish startup founded with the mission of creating digital products to improve the health of the people and the planet. The purpose of POMMINE is to inspire behaviour changes in people that benefit the planet. With our products, we aim to make them rethink how they move around, how to be more sustainable, but also to change how they think about the future. We want to connect people all over the world, so that they can escape the feelings of helplessness, and see that if we work together, anything is possible. We believe in optimism and feel-good as an underlying power for change. Our mission is to show the group to the individual, to prove that there is a massive force of people who believe in, and fights for, the future of the people and the planet. POMMINE first release is the 10 Steps to Mars app. A fun step counter that incorporates gamification to motivate people to walk more, while creating a healthier planet. 10 Steps to Mars is centred around three of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, which as a whole provide a "blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all by 2030". Moving forward, we want to continue developing digital solutions that are centred around the Sustainable Development Goals to contribute in achieving a better and more sustainable future for all.
