Centamin

Centamin is a mineral exploration, development, and mining company focused on precious metals, primarily gold. Established in 1970 and based in Saint Helier, Channel Islands, the company operates primarily through its flagship Sukari Gold Mine in Egypt, which has been in production since 2009 and is recognized as the first large-scale modern gold mine in the country. The Sukari Gold Mine encompasses a significant area and employs both open-pit and underground mining methods to extract ore, which is processed on-site.
