Zambia Forestry And Forest Industries Corporation Limited, also known as ZAFFICO, is engaged in the development and maintenance of pine and eucalyptus plantations for the harvesting and commercial processing of timber. The company manages approximately 50,000 hectares of these plantations across the Copperbelt Province, including areas such as Ndola, Kalulushi, Chingola, Lufwanyama, Mufulira, and Kitwe. Established in 1982 and headquartered in Ndola, ZAFFICO supplies timber to both local and international markets. To enhance its offerings, the company has implemented a Pole Treatment Plant in Kalulushi, which produces around 140,000 treated poles annually for various applications, including transmission, fencing, and construction. This diversification aligns with ZAFFICO's strategic focus on meeting domestic demand while expanding its market presence.
