Peter and Gail Hutchinson founded PCS in Orange County, California in 1981, which was the first industrial powder coating job shop in the area. The company has steadily grown over the years and what once was a small band of six employees, is now a company of 50, which still includes members of the original team. PCS operates in 5 plants within an industrial park. Powder coatings were originally developed as an environmentally sound method.
